Review of the Teacher Standards: Discussion paper feedback survey

The Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) invites you to take part in this survey for the Review of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (the Review).

About this survey

This survey asks for your feedback on the Discussion Paper. The Discussion Paper brings together evidence from the Review and identifies 7 improvement areas and potential actions for improving the Teacher Standards.

Your survey responses will help AITSL understand the views of the profession and other stakeholders. Feedback from this survey, along with other inputs from the Review, will help AITSL prepare a final report and recommendations for Education Ministers to consider any potential revisions to the Teacher Standards.

Anyone aged 18 or over who wants to give feedback can take part in the survey. The survey should take approximately 45–60 minutes to complete, depending on how much detail you choose to provide in the optional comment boxes.

For the best experience, we recommend completing the survey on a desktop or laptop computer. The survey must be completed in one sitting. You may find it helpful to read the information about improvement areas and potential actions in the Discussion Paper before starting the survey. You can access the Discussion Paper, along with more information about the Review, by clicking here.

Taking part is voluntary. You can find more information about the survey, including data collection and privacy, in the Participant Information Sheet.

If you need more information, please contact AITSL at StandardsReview@aitsl.edu.au

By continuing to the survey, you confirm that you are aged 18 years or over, have read the Participant Information Sheet, and consent to participate in this research.
