ClimateXChange have commissioned research on capital funding for agriculture in Scotland, to assess which on-farm capital measures and equipment could best support climate mitigation and adaptation in Scotland, while delivering value for public money. WSP (formerly Ricardo) are conducting the research project.
The research aims to gather insights into which capital actions and equipment have the strongest potential to reduce emissions and improve climate resilience on Scottish farms and crofts, what motivates farmers and crofters to take up these measures, and what barriers may prevent uptake, where support may be needed across different geographies and farm types. The research will be shared with Scottish Government for consideration.
Farmers, crofters, workers and farm/croft advisors in Scotland can contribute to the research by completing this short survey about climate-related capital funding needs. The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. All responses will be treated in strict confidence and used solely for research purposes. The survey is anonymous meaning we will not record your name or contact details. Your participation in this study is voluntary and purely based on circulated links to relevant user communities. If you wish to withdraw, please simply close your browser.
The survey will be open until 27th September. Thank you for taking the time to share your views.
