This is one of the most important rural surveys Wyre Council has carried out in years, and your voice will directly influence real action, and will be the last rural survey before the local government reorganisation (Devolution for Lancashire). Your responses will feed into the 2025 Economic Development and Visitor Economy Strategy, guiding how the Council, local employers and countryside organisations will tackle rural challenges going forwards. Where issues can’t be solved locally, we’ll raise them with MPs and high tiers of Government to push for wider change.
The survey takes around 15 - 20 minutes. Most questions are simple tick‑boxes, with optional space to add your views. There are more questions for rural enterprises and farmers than residents, this is to ensure we hear the voices of those who are closely connected with the land, and provide employment.
