Northern Powergrid is conducting an innovative trial in Byrness, Northumberland, that could help provide immediate restoration of supply during grid outage conditions to remote communities.
This project is the first of its kind, and implementing such initiatives can take time. If you are a resident in Byrness, we want to hear from you. Your feedback will contribute greatly to the project's progress and ultimately have a positive impact on the Byrness community.
You don’t need to know the details of the MicroResilience project to take part in this survey. Northern Powergrid is interested in your views and perspectives.

As a reminder, Northern Powergrid, the company responsible for the electricity network that powers everyday life for 8 million people across the North East, Yorkshire and northern Lincolnshire. Northern Powergrid has commissioned an independent market research agency, Explain Research, to help deliver this survey.
