We really appreciate you taking the time to tell us your views and experiences as a young person in Scouts. Your feedback will help us understand more about what young people like about Scouts and the impact it has on them, which helps us inform decisions about how to make Scouts better for everyone.

Here's a short message from our Deputy UK Chief Volunteer, CJ, on why your response means so much to us.

We know the positive impact that Scouts has on young people. We know that everyone’s welcome at Scouts (all genders, races and backgrounds), that at Scouts we build connections and confidence in young people, improve wellbeing and teach our young people skills for life. We know all this, but if we want to grow and reach out to more young people, we need to be able to demonstrate this.

The data we collect from this survey will help us improve volunteers' experiences in Scouts and in turn help keep volunteers in Scouts. Having the impactful data is also useful when we’re looking for funding in the future.

Your responses will truly help us to make Scouts better and help us to reach even more young people, using the experiences of our young people to encourage more young people across the UK to join in and gain skills for life
