Scottish Air Quality Annual Seminar 2025

This year, the Scottish Air Quality Annual Seminar 2025 will take place at The Social Hub in Glasgow on 26th March. The event is run by the Scottish Government as part of the Scottish Air Quality Database and Website project.
 
We are still in the process of finalising the agenda, however we have already secured a number of very interesting speakers talking on subjects such as:
  • Andrew Taylor (Scottish Government) – Air Quality Policy Update  
  • Dr Heather Price (Scottish AQ Champion) - Air Qualtiy Visition for Scotland
  • Prof. Nicola Carslaw (University of York) - Indoor Air pollution
  • Dr Jack Davison (Ricardo) - Interpretation and analysis of AQ data
  • Stephen Stratton (Ricardo) - Transport for Greater Manchester Sensor Network and website
  • Sylvia Stoianova  (University of Bristol) - National Child Mortality Database – Infant deaths due to Asthma or Anaphylaxis
  • Sam Wilson (university of York) - Ammonia Emissions from Vehicle Emissions Measurements
  • Prof. Brian Castella (Durham University) - Air Pollution and its impact on dementia and mental health
  • Sarah Robertson (Pubic Health Scotland) – Outdoor Air Pollution - Our areas of work - Public Health Scotland

Lunch and refreshments will be provide along with a Certificate of Personal Development.
