6. Future Leaders is a programme that is focussed on supporting young Black men and women, and Southern Asian Women. A key part of the programme is for young people to see people who identify as Black or Southern Asian in the world of work. You may want to describe your heritage based on the nationalities of your family e.g. African – Nigerian, Caribbean – Grenadian or Asian – Pakistani. We know dropdown lists can feel limiting to some people so we would like to give you the freedom to describe your own ethnicity. We are asking for this information because we see it as critically important for mentors to be representative of the young people we serve, therefore for mentors to be of Black and Brown heritages.
