Scout Adventures UK Volunteer Trainee Instructor Programme - Application Form

Completing the application form


Welcome and thank you for your interest in joining the Scout Adventures team.

The details you provide in your application will be used to assess your application to join the Volunteer Programme. This information includes your name and contact details, and sensitive information such as your address and date of birth, which we’ll use to  assess your application, and contact you about the application process. This is held securely for 5 years after your application, independently of any other data or membership details held by The Scout Association.  Personal data is not shared with any other third party.  For more information, please see our data protection policy.
This form is to apply for the UK Volunteer Trainee Instructor Programme.  It will take you abiout 30 minutes to complete. To complete this application you will need:
  • Membership confirmation from your Scout/Guide Group (this is only required if you are a current Scout or Girl Guide) OR
  • Letter of recommendation from school/university or employer (this is required if you are not a Scout or Girl Guide)
  • A photo of you
  • A short 2 minute video of you introducing yourself.
Save and Continue

You don't need to complete the whole form in one go.  Once you have started filling in the form you should see a "save and continue" option in the top right of the page - allowing you to come back and finish the form later!

Not a UK citizen/don't have the right to volunteer in the UK?

This programme is only open to volunteers from the UK, or those who already have the right to volunteer in the UK.  If this is not you then you should look at our Residential Volunteer Programme which includes visa sponsorship.  You can find out more at www.scoutadventures.org.uk/volunteer
