What data do we store?
The following personal data will be collected and processed as part of the survey, if provided: First name, Surname, email address, organisation, country, and answers to the survey. We received your contact details from ISGAN Executive Committee members. Only AIT - Austrian Institute of Technology will have access to your non-anonymised data. Your answers in this survey will only be used for the purposes indicated in the survey.
We are obliged to store your personal data securely and will not pass it on to third parties. To prove compliance with guidelines for ensuring good scientific practice, your data will be stored for ten years after the end of the project (2024). Should requirements for scientific institutions change in the future, your data will be stored for a shorter or longer period accordingly.
What are your rights regarding the data collected?
You have the right to request information about the personal data stored about you. You also have the right to have data corrected or deleted. Subject to the more detailed requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your data or its transfer. If you are of the opinion that the processing of your data violates data protection regulations, you can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Austria, the data protection authority (www.dsb.gv.at) is responsible for handling complaints.
The online survey is conducted via www.alchemer.eu. The data will be stored by www.alchemer.eu in the AWS data centre in Frankfurt/Germany for the duration of the survey and then permanently deleted.
