Older Adults Survey

Strathcona County is developing a vision and strategy for older adults in our community. This strategy will inform the County’s service delivery, coordination of services and future planning to meet the needs of older residents of Strathcona County for years to come. The purpose of our engagement on this strategy is to hear from a variety of older adult voices to best understand the spectrum of needs of those aged 55+.

The purpose of this survey is to learn more about the current and future needs of older adults, gather feedback on a draft vision for Strathcona County’s 55+ population and hear perspectives regarding a potential hub for older adults. Beyond this engagement, data from this survey may also be used in the development of County services and programming. This survey is part of a multi-phase engagement process. Future engagement opportunities for Strathcona County’s Older Adult strategy will be available in June and September.

This survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete. The survey will be available until May 10. Please do not provide any personally identifying information in your response. All responses are anonymous and confidential, all results will be reported in the aggregate and cannot be tied back to you in any way.

Respondents who complete the survey can enter into a draw for one of four $50 grocery store giftcards. Our way of saying thanks for taking the time to leave feedback! Full details can be found here. Only those aged 55+ and who reside in Strathcona County are eligible for the contest.
