North East Derbyshire District Council - Housing Survey 2024

A message from North East Derbyshire District Council

Dear resident,

North East Derbyshire District Council is carrying out an important study of housing and households within the district and asks you to participate. Please take 10 to 15-minutes to complete this confidential questionnaire.

The information you supply will provide evidence to help the council to ensure that future housebuilding meets the needs of local people in terms of size, type and tenure, at prices that are in step with local income levels. It will be used to ensure that future housing is suitable for specific households such as older people, newly forming households and those with special needs for level access or supported housing. The council also seeks to understand the need for affordable housing to both rent and buy.

A full range of views from homeowners and people who rent from the Council or a housing association, or a private landlord are needed. Whether you are planning to move house or not, the information you provide is important, as it will help to give a balanced view of housing requirements in the area.

To encourage participation the council is funding a prize draw. 3 prizes of £200 will be available which will be randomly selected from those who respond. For data protection reasons you must opt-in to the prize draw. Instructions for entering the prize draw appear at the end of the questionnaire.

The survey is being managed on behalf of the Council by consultants CNB Housing Insights who will also undertake the data processing. All information you give will be treated as strictly confidential and will only be used for the purpose of this survey.
