Drugs, young people and the police

This survey has been produced by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Strategic Youth Independent Advisory Group (YIAG).

The YIAG is made up of young people aged 14-25 and have a keen interest in improving Hampshire police services. To achieve this, we:
  • Explore the relationship between young people (aged 14-25) and Hampshire Police through their personal experiences and views.
  • Review incidents and issues impacting local communities
  • Represent their communities’ views alongside their own and while promoting diversity and inclusion
We have chosen to work on the topic of ‘Drugs and Young People’ as it is a huge issue in our communities and it affects a huge number of young people – especially those at University.
