Review of SRBV's Licensing System: Stakeholder Consultation to Issues Paper

The Surveyor Registration Board of Victoria (SRBV) is responsible for registration of Licensed Surveyors to perform cadastral surveying in Victoria.

The current licensing system has been in place for a long period of time and has fundamentally remained unchanged. The Board and industry stakeholders have acknowledged that the current model may act as a disincentive for some candidates to complete their licensing process. Furthermore, licensed surveyors are an aging workforce and the workforce does not represent the broader diversity of the Victorian community.

To address these challenges, SRBV has engaged Nous to review the current licensing system for cadastral surveyors in Victoria. Nous has now produced an Issues Paper for stakeholder consultation that documents our understanding of current issues and identifies opportunities for reform.

In this context, the purpose of this survey is for stakeholders to provide their response to the issues and reform opportunities identified in our issues paper. All responses will remain anonymous, unless you choose to provide your contact details.

Nous will be accepting responses to this survey until Friday 24 September 2021. If you have any questions about the survey or the project, please contact Nous at .
