In2research Application

Welcome to the In2research Programme!

The In2research programme is completely free to participate in, and consists of workshops, mentoring, away days and a paid 8-week research placement in a top university.

Alongside the benefits of adding research work to your portfolio, you will receive practical advice and guidance on successful PhD applications from an experienced mentor, improving your employability in the research sector.

To be eligible for the programme you must meet the following criteria:

Be a British resident, have refugee status, or indefinite leave to remain
Be EITHER
- from a low socio-economic background OR
- have parents who do not hold higher education qualifications.
Currently studying a STEM undergraduate degree or already have a Bachelor's degree in STEM
Be able to work full-time in a research placement in London for an 8-week period between June and August

Have a passion for any area of STEM!

During the summer placement, all students will receive a tax-free stipend equivalent to London Living Wage.
