Year 12 LondonMed Summer School

This programme forms part of the Medical Schools Council (MSC) Summer School initiative and is funded by Health Education England (HEE), therefore you must meet the MSC eligibility criteria outlined hereThe questions in this form help us assess your application against our eligibility criteria, which aims to increase undergraduate applications and enrolments from groups underrepresented in Medicine in England.

The Y12 LondonMed Summer School is a collaboration between UCLQueen Mary, University of London (QMUL), King’s College London (KCL), and St George’s, University of London (SGUL). Therefore, your data will be shared with the listed parties involved. 
Y12 LondonMed Summer School

Hosted by UCL and in collaboration with SGUL, KCL, and QMUL, the LondonMed summer school will provide you with an insight to studying medicine at four different medical schools across London. Participants will have the opportunity to experience lectures and workshops ranging on topics such as ethics and law to clinical and professional practice. Attendees will experience differing teaching styles and engage with staff, health care workers and students across all four London institutions. This week-long virtual summer school will breakdown the essentials to consider when applying for medicine, provide insight into the degree course, and give you a taste of what it might be like to study medicine in London.

Application Deadline: 10am, Tuesday 4th May 2021

Before you complete your application:
  • Ensure you have your teacher's email address, we need this for a reference.
  • Tell your teacher to expect an email from us asking for a reference.
  • Have your parents/carer with you to complete the parent/carer's details.
  • Save any answers on a word document and copy them over. You will not be able to save your progress.
