Online Masterclasses are subject based and are two hours long. They consist of a topic based lecture and interactive activity, led by a SOAS academic. There are also workshops and a Q&A session with Student Ambassadors.
- "What Makes a Revolution"?
This masterclass will examine the origins, main players, and fortunes of the Egyptian revolution of January 2011, placing it in the context of regional and international political developments.
- Participants will engage in group work using first-hand testimonies to explore the conditions that enable - or limit - the process of revolution.
- Participants will develop their critical thinking, public speaking and analytical skills.
