  • If you do not provide all the information requested, we may be unable to provide a quotation.
  • The Insurers reserve the right to change the premium and/or terms and conditions of cover in certain circumstances. 
  • You should keep a record of all information you have given to us (a copy of a completed form will be emailed to you upon completion)

Important information before you apply:
Please note we are unable to offer cover for any trips in, to or through; Afghanistan, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Liberia, Syria, Sudan, North Korea and the Crimea region of Ukraine, Donetsk People's Republic (DNT) region of Ukraine, Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) region of Ukraine. 
Claims will not be covered if any insured person has suffered from, or received any form of medical advice, treatment, or medications for any of the following conditions at the time of booking travel, or purchasing a PAX travel insurance policy, whichever is later:
  • Any heart or circulatory condition, any respiratory condition or cancerous condition
  • A medical condition for which you/they are taking prescribed medication
  • Have been referred to or seen a medical specialist, or needed inpatient treatment within the last 12 months
  • Are receiving or waiting for medical investigation, or treatment for any undiagnosed condition or set of symptoms
  • Have been given a terminal prognosis 

COVID-19:
All claims affected by COVID-19 will be considered on an individual basis and in accordance with policy terms, so please read the conditions of cover and exclusions included in the terms and conditions within the policy document. The following is therefore only provided as high level guidance:
  • We treat infectious diseases like every other illness you may encounter before or whilst travelling.
  • If you have to cancel or curtail your trip due to an infectious disease, including COVID-19, we treat this like any other cancellation or curtailment.
  • If you have to remain in a country to which you have travelled due to being diagnosed with an infectious disease, including COVID-19, we treat this like any other reason as to why you are unable to return to your country of origin.
Trip cancellation and curtailment cover is in place if a relative (as defined on page 13 of the general definitions section in the policy document), person you have booked to travel with or person you have planned to stay with while travelling becomes ill, including with COVID-19.
If between the time of booking a trip and the trip departure date there is a change in the FCDO travel advice, this would be covered as a trip cancellation under the current policy wording. Please note this element of the policy is subject to change.
