No personal data is being collected in this survey. However, browser and analytical cookies are used.
Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers stored on your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser for the purpose of identifying you when you visit a site or page. Cookies enable us to recognize your browser when you visit and to tell us whether you and other visitors have visited the Site previously.
The sole purpose of browser cookies is to prevent duplicate survey responses and is not used to enable identification of any individual.
Furthermore, we use analytical cookies (Google analytics). The cookies measure the number of visits, the number of pages viewed, user activity on the site and user return frequency. The traffic statistics data is collected by the service provider and then provided to The Synergist in aggregate and anonymous form in a web interface accessible only to the data controller. The data collected is not transferred to third parties, nor used for other purposes.
You can change the settings on your browser to prevent new cookies from being set, or to notify you when a new cookie is set. Each browser is different, but the Help section for the browser will be able to show you how to change cookie preferences or clear your cookies from time to time. If you do block cookies it may impact your experience and you may not be able to take advantage of all features.
Your anonymous answers will be saved for the duration of the project, until December 2021. We collect your data for the purpose of conducting this survey and to analyse the results of this survey as part of our research project and in aggregate form to generate research reports.
If you have any questions or comments on how we handle your data please contact Maximiliane Rauch at maximiliane@thesynergist.org.
