We would like to invite marine protected area (MPA) managers or representatives to complete this survey.
The purpose of the survey is to collect information on the costs of operating MPAs in order to guide future management and sustainable financing. The objective of this research is to produce a global overview of MPA costs and funding requirements to benefit MPA planners and managers in the future.
This survey is conducted on behalf of The Nature Conservancy (TNC) by researchers at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Stony Brook University and Brander Environmental Economics. The collected data will be treated as confidential and used only for aggregated statistical analysis.
The survey is expected to take 10-20 minutes to complete.
