RIBAJ Technology in Practice Survey, 2026: in association with Hyphen Digital

Introduction

Thank you for agreeing to take part in our survey. 

We would like to ask you about your views on how technology is being used in your practice.

Please submit your response by the deadline of Friday 19 June 2026.

What you need to know:
  • This survey covers some of the emerging issues around Technology in the Architecture profession.
  • Most people complete this survey in less than 10 minutes (though this can depend on the answers you provide).
  • All information is treated in confidence. Only the RIBA Research team will have access to your responses.
  • When we ask about your "organisation" in this survey, we mean your main employer or your own business (including sole traders and consultants).
  • Only one of the questions requires your answer, but please answer all the questions you can.
  • RIBAJ will publish a report on the survey in July. This report will only include aggregated, anonymous, data.
  • The survey is carried out in accordance with the Market Research Society Code of Conduct, and the survey terms and conditions.
  • Towards the end of the survey you will be given the option to enter a prize draw for one of three £100 John Lewis Vouchers. The winners will be selected at random, and all email addresses will be kept confidential.
